The issue, for me at least, is that we have a tyre designed for "extreme" conditions that requires "switching on".
We are now watching different engineered cars and different drivers switch on different tires at different rates and it's great.
Maybe there will be the odd person saying bUt tHE cArs wERe Not DeSIgnEd FoR ThIS but from my side this is exactly what F1 is about - diversity (of car performance envelopes)
