The rear of the car was intact without any fire. So the fire was mainly in the front.
I bet they could have some oil or even fuel inside...

The fuel tank is located between the engine and the driver. I'd not be surprised if the fuel tank got punctured and the fuel ignited within milliseconds. Grosjean is very lucky to have walked away from that, with what look like minor injuries. The Halo looks to have played a pivotal role in saving Grosjean today, along with all the other safety features built into the car.

Not really as Stroll got himself out no problems. There is room for the driver to escape in that situation.

Yeah you try and crawl from underneath the halo in a ball of fire. It can just as easily be a death trap. Luckily for GRO it saved his life. Nothing is 100% perfect
