Simulated Onboards
Isn't it just the same as yesterday's race? It's the same track after all.
It'll be a DRS train anyway. Everyone will be in DRS range and thus noone will benefit from it. The only guy that will struggle is the one at the front of a given group.
I think pole is going to be massively important. The first two laps allow the leader to try to get out of DRS range. If he can do that, he ought to be able to romp away. As you go back though the field it's just going to be a DRS train with positions swapping around and the guy at the front of each group swapping each lap.godlameroso wrote: ↑01 Dec 2020, 01:33It's going to be crazy the shorter the track the smaller the time difference. I think the whole field will be spread by about 3/4ths of a second.
If there is a DRS train, the one at the front will be a sitting duck unless they trim all the wing out, but if they trim the wing out of the car you'll qualify down the order.
Yes you’re right, I was commenting off looking at the simulations.Just_a_fan wrote: ↑30 Nov 2020, 21:32Isn't it just the same as yesterday's race? It's the same track after all.
It will, there are enough downforce dependent corners that running more wing will make you faster, there's an ideal sweet spot.
