Too much front roll stiffness
That would cause an inner wheel to lock. He's constantly locking the outer wheel into T1.
Hmm, you're right. Locking that same wheel on entry to 7, maybe he's just overheating that tire.
Could be slow rear corner rebound i believe as well...

There is no doubt in my mind that Russell can be as good as Hamilton. But can he be as good as Hamilton for as long as Hamilton has been Hamilton? I think that question a lot of F1 drivers are yet to prove.
I was making a joke about people jumping the gun after one practice session

I do think that Valteri will calm down by P-3 and take pole and the win. He should be able to manage the tyres better because of his experience with the car. Russel can get on pole, but i don't think enough to say if he is faster than Valteri. Though i do think Valteri will blitz him. The race, Russel needs to ensure he can hold back Max and Perez.
I hope he gets a podium at least. It's valteri's race to lose. He just needs to avoid running over debris or any contact with other drivers, or even a poor pitstop.
For Sure!!

They were saying he had 'damage' on his car in FP1, but not what it was

I thought they said differential, but may have misheard.

Racefans reporting damage to the "bib" - but I don't know what that is...

The drivers aren't using all the kerb between 7 and 8. If they used the kerb they could get a better exit on 8.

Bottas up around 2 tenths if his lap had not been deleted on the first run of qualy laps.
Not for nothing, Rosberg's Championship is the only thing that lends credibility to Hamilton's recent success. Otherwise, he'd just be the guy who's had the best car. — bhall II

About where I expect it to be on a ~55s lap. Would be about half a second at something like Spa.

Soft tyres only good for 1 flying lap so can't be doing that in qualifying.

He wouldn't have been up two tenths if he didn't run wide on turn 8. Too easy to just go wide because you did a bad setup on 7. Plus you don't want to drive the car over the kerb, you want to have two wheels, it's easier to keep two inside wheels than the outside wheels.
