Lucky Mick today. he screwed up badly but got away with that one.

but crucially he made Illot attack hard and destroy his tyres as well. Also kept the gap from leading duo. Once he pitted, Illot didn't stand chance on closing it.

Schumacher really killed his tires today, fortunately for him so did Illot trying to pass him.
He still managed to pass Daruvala after the initial lock up, but then he just kept droping and locking up again and again.
As soon as Illot got clear track i knew he wouldn't make much progress.

Good championship, Mick was overall very consistent, no transcedent class of the field type, a bunch of good guys.
