while also sending off 4 Hamilton players to make it more interesting"

Not sure I agree that Aston Martin are "back on the grid". It's PR junk. Sure they turned up for a couple of years but they were nowhere. 10 entries, 5 retirements, highest finish was 6th.

AM have a proper racing history and it's in sports cars and it's beautiful:

DBR1 driven by the likes of Moss, Shelby, Brooks, Salvadori, Brabham, Clark. Won Le Mans in '59.

Sorry, I dislike marketing guff.

Let me see here..

...Aston with a Merc engine?

...Alfa with a Ferrari engine?

...RB with an Aston engine that is actually a Honda engine.

But wait...

...Aston has an old Merc chassis?

...Alfa has a Sauber chassis?

...Williams has no chassis?

Oh, it does not matter...Merc wins everything anyway! ...or are they Ineos?

Any news on 'Cognizant' joining the team as title sponsor?

AM has done everything right from a branding perspective; now they have a solid title sponsor as well.
Hope for similar track performance in 21. [-o< [-o< [-o<

I hope that isn’t a true reflection of their forthcoming livery.
If it is then it’s looking more like a Mercedes F1 car everyday #-o

Could be part of the branding strategy; Team might looking to attract premium brands & differentiate itself from Force India & RP image.

Maybe it is the "Alfa Romeo strategy"...just stick you name on an existing F1 car and hope such branding allows you to sell mediocre quality sweaters for $600 on your website. Alfa is certainly not very involved in any track related R&D (if any)...they just seem to try and sell a few high-end clothing items on their website, a few of which are F1 branded. I have no idea as to how this has helped/hindered AR sales globally...I actually thought they were tanking in such respects (of course AR may just be a cheap location to place Ferrari reserve drivers).

I had sort of hoped that Aston would actually be somewhat of a true manufacturer...been doing wonders in sport's car series. Still, Aston is not much better off financially than is AR (if any). As crap as the last few years have been, maybe karma will serve us up a dish of Vet winning in a green car at race 1 (I can dream).

Kind of miss leading in that lost RP and they gained Cognizant, Mercedes and Austin Martin. Those 3 really big sponcers.

Anyways, early days. It only starts to count once they drop the car. Whenever that is.
