Vodaphone McLaren Mercedes MP4-24

Correct (see pic below from previous test), Both inside and outside are gone and as per last year the more conventional discs are back. 8)

According to an Interview with Kubica, the 2010 front tires are a different dimention to the 2009 ones, so we may still see the front wheel farings back!

I doubt it, they were just a sensor package to help test various aspects of the new front suspension & Tyres.

Hang on, we still don't know who's right yet. Just wait to the end of the month and all will be revealed.

I also thought they were to house sensors but almighty scarbs said they are for the aero.
Well, time will tell.

They'll just increase/decrease front track to accommodate.

Heh. Well if indeed it turns out that this turns out to be the final configuration then I'll happily eat humble pie. But I'm not quite ready to just yet.

It is probably a hole made for the lower suspension arm to attach to the chassis.

I hope McLaren could find a loop hole in using those front inner and especially outer tyre fairings. I guess McLaren will nevershow their cards till the last team test in Barcelona huh... 08 wing on an 09 car or a full 09 car with 2010 tyres. I won't be surprised if they never run the real package till qualifying. Who knows maybe Aussie friday practice will feature the 08 wing, since it has been their baseline all testing season. I don't know the 18,000 rpm buzz is long overdue... we need Australia soon!!!!!!!

let's go back to 21,000 rpm... please please please

That's as likely as Williams fitting active suspension on the FW31.
"Just Because"?

OK bad example... but I don't think they'll spend more of whatever limited testing time on a part that will never go on the car simply to "explore another variable"

they are back...

What i wanted to say previously was... i don't think performance can be judged pre-season... We have to wait for Australia to really know. McLaren is pushing it as usual, so is Williams. I think Ferrari this year has been on the quiet trail huh? Hope there are four teams on top, preferably McLaren, Ferrari, Red Bull, Williams.
