Honestly whats with the passion for lime? the green they have is their heritage racing colours and clearly they wanted something akin to a throwback livery with hints of lime pinstriping. However when BWT cam back at the last minute they had no choice but to change the lime to pink. It was their choice of $$$$ or lime. Be grateful that we even got a green car backManoah2u wrote: ↑03 Mar 2021, 17:07Ugh i stand corrected. Here i was waiting for the livery i was anticipating most of all teams and cars and we've been given the most bland, boring and disappointing livery ever. the pink really doesn't go well. definately would have been better if it was neon yellow, but even then it's disappointing.

all this could have happened and we got this bland product
Rose Pink would be better than Bubblegum Pink. Add a bit of silver-metallic, and gorgeous green/pink combo.cplchanb wrote: ↑03 Mar 2021, 19:09Honestly whats with the hard on for lime? the green they have is their heritage racing colours and clearly they wanted something akin to a throwback livery with hints of lime pinstriping. Agreed, worse they tried putting it on the valance of the road cars...
It's bizarre that some fans were expecting British Racing Green instead of Almond Green and are disappointed by the colour. Aston Martin haven't raced in BRG since the early 50's, when somebody in the Aston paint shop tipped some new-fangled silver metallic into the BRG and invented Almond Green!Just_a_fan wrote: ↑01 Jan 2021, 02:42AM have a proper racing history and it's in sports cars and it's beautiful:
I like the pink one better.
There isn't really a thing called "British Racing Green". It's not defined as a single colour.JordanMugen wrote: ↑04 Mar 2021, 01:18It's bizarre that some fans were expecting British Racing Green instead of Almond Green and are disappointed by the colour. Refer exhibit 49186. The F1 cars are presented instead in something along the lines of Aston Martin Racing Green, Aston Green Mica, Almond Green, DBR9 Racing Green, DBS Racing Green etc which is a few different colour codes and not quite so precisely defined by Aston Martin -- but broadly speaking they are all green with silver metallic mixed in.Just_a_fan wrote: ↑04 Mar 2021, 01:35There isn't really a thing called "British Racing Green". It was in Johnny English though
Media still haven’t reported on this yet? Very slow
