Verstappen did not crash out. His rear tire exploded. Cause and result. And in fact, the result was he spun into the gravel. That is never a crash, just a spin.godlameroso wrote: ↑07 Mar 2021, 17:4443 1:18.151[2] 1:18.528[1] -0.377 +13.007 15Wouter wrote: ↑07 Mar 2021, 17:08Where do you see that? 4 vs 4
Verstappen gained half a second, then Hamilton answered back by getting back the half second, then Verstappen crashed out.
Hamilton had the benefit of running in clean air, while Verstappen took more out of his tires getting past Bottas, and running in his wake. Given the circumstances his pace was excellent.
He DNF'ed, however you want to spin it, the result is the same.Sieper wrote: ↑07 Mar 2021, 21:33Verstappen did not crash out. His rear tire exploded. Cause and result. Then say he had a technical DNF, which is the truth. It is you doing the spinning, and Max, after his tire exploded.godlameroso wrote: ↑07 Mar 2021, 21:37He DNF'ed, however you want to spin it, the result is the same.Sieper wrote: ↑07 Mar 2021, 21:33Verstappen did not crash out. No. Six mechanical and one software. Likely to be another one on software but I mustn’t mention that because everyone thinks I’m crazy as it is.godlameroso wrote: ↑07 Mar 2021, 21:367? gearbox casing, rear suspension , engine, that's 3. Do the rest of the changes fall under aero?
I don't mind crazy, but this raises further questions. Software as in CE management software?Slo Poke wrote: ↑07 Mar 2021, 22:09No. Six mechanical and one software. No. Young Master Albon made reference to ‘interesting features’ some posts ago. A fellow of your calibre, I’m thinking could work that out for sure.godlameroso wrote: ↑07 Mar 2021, 22:22I don't mind crazy, but this raises further questions. Godlameroso: I know you to be a well educated and self-intelligent individual and as such you are underestimating yourself.godlameroso wrote: ↑08 Mar 2021, 15:06Interesting features regarding handling...how can software play into that. Simulator is obviously software, and Albon said they spent a lot of time on the simulator taking out the weaknesses of the chassis.
I don't think I can figure it out, I'm terrible at riddles.
Do you have some kind of a direct or indirect connection to the team and thus insider info? Genuine question.Slo Poke wrote: ↑08 Mar 2021, 17:19Godlameroso: I know you to be a well educated and self-intelligent individual and as such you are underestimating yourself.godlameroso wrote: ↑08 Mar 2021, 15:06Interesting features regarding handling...how can software play into that. Riddle, rumour and gossip I don’t do but I will utilise Hint. You and I are linked by hint, so think what both drivers have made known concerning corners, cornering balance (not aero) and throttle use on a level playing surface. Gradients through positive, neutral and negative, in themselves could be considered hints towards what you have already.

Software for power delivery and recovery. Fuel mapping as well.godlameroso wrote: ↑08 Mar 2021, 15:06Interesting features regarding handling...how can software play into that. Mechanically there is a new ICE, turbocharger, MGU-H, MGU-K, harnesses, exhaust, wastegates, diffuser, floor, cape, barge boards, brake ducts, rear suspension, gearbox casing. Possibly a new fuel and fluids as well.
Thanks, I take that as a compliment. But seriously, your comment isn't necessary.Slo Poke wrote: ↑08 Mar 2021, 18:43Ispano6:ispano6 wrote: ↑08 Mar 2021, 18:24Software for power delivery and recovery. You are obviously young and very passionate, I mean well; case closed.
