A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.
Not necessarily an insult ( as proof is in race results...not testing times nor aesthetics), but the construct design/fit & finish nexus of the 21 seems rather NASCAR-ish. It all looks a wee bit 1970's CanAm type of final assembly (of course this may not be "final"). I do think the livery looks nice on track.
I know that Haas have said they did not and will not be developing their car this year, but man it was so painful to watch onboard with Mick yesterday how slow the car was in the corners even though I knew it would be as such. Mick was faster than Latifi in the 2nd and 3rd stint of his tyres but then the car was so slow in the corners man it was painful to watch. Would have loved at least they added a bit more aero downforce but I am not part of the team and can only hope. May this sacrificial lamb of a year yield some proper midfield contention starting 2022 onwards indeed.
