Perez messed up at turn 4 having to correct oversteer. That’s why he lost time in S1. S3 the tyre was probably too overheated. Yep. Marker was already laid down during race sims yesterday. Yeah, Merc hasn't done a race sim yet, just a collection of 10-lap stints.
