2008 Superleague formula V12

They should have this as F1 in ‘08.

I would love to see the Elf Karting Masters in Paris-Bercy make a return. Seeing the best drivers in every racing series race kartings together, indoor, without any championship pressure... GOD YES!

F5000.

NASCAR motors with open induction, no “gear rule” to limit rpm, no mileage rule, and open compression rule. Should be 1000bhp easy and sound incredible.

Paired with a modern F2 style chassis, scaled to fit the drivetrain.

CART pre 2004 was awesome! Also IMSA from the 80’s was epic too.
Exactly! CART was actually giving F1 some pain back in the day. Thanks a lot Tony George.

F5000 was fun. Plain wings, no ground effect, V8s. No electronics.

Is it possible to vote for F1?
Amen. Beat me to it.

What masquerades as F1 now has little resemblance to the series in the 1990s, for example, when it was a lot better in nearly every possible way.

It all started going to hell when Senna died, May 1, 1994.

Steady decline since then, greatly accelerated with the current hybrid era.

This! (while ya wait for Monza  )
If I had a time machine...Donohue, Jones, Revson, Elford, Follmer with Hall and Penske as bosses
If you think whippersnapper Maxie Verstappen goes hard at overtaking watch Parnelli at 1:54
Mixes of half wets and half drys because of the 5 lug time loss/ one side at a time
