OK, I just added a new bin as the first bin was getting fatter, and that deleted past poll results. Sorry about that! Now I know not to do that in the future.
Feel free to vote again.
Max torque through most of the power band with electric motors too.henry wrote: ↑02 May 2021, 17:5870s F1 cars were 300kW and around 600kg in qualifying. The FE cars are 250kW and 900kg.
Although the FE have a wider power band I think they’ll struggle to match the 70s F1 performance. Unless of course the tyres are better in which case they’ll be able to make full use of the low speed Tractive effort. They also will gain some time from the lack of gear changes which cost time back in the seventies.
Yeah but I think there are a few slight changes as per: https://www.autosport.com/formula-e/new ... t/6291785/jjn9128 wrote: ↑01 May 2021, 18:11Nope. They used to cut Sainte Devote and run backwards up the harbour front to the chicane (which became a hairpin) this year they're running the full Grand Prix track. Hence the threadMattWellsyWells wrote: ↑01 May 2021, 12:24Aren't they cutting Sainte Devote? So that might knock off a few seconds.
That should be "Lotus 72" as most of those historic cars really aren't the same spec they raced in 45 years ago.
Huzzah!! What do I win?
