McLaren MCL35M

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Temps in Bahrain were alot higher, we sure that was a an actual change and not just an adaptation to the exterior temps ?

Actual change as in aero? The Spain one is narrower horizontally.

Right, if we go back to a place that has 45C temps, will they revert back to the same opening?

I don't think Bahrain was 45c ambient in March but similar temps as then should see same cover back with sidepod louvres.

The narrower engine cover outlet has been used in all four races so far. They have run the wider one during testing.
