Great stuff! Very happy for Romain after what he’s been through to be back racing and competing well.
I’m hoping some of that was him trying to over perform in slower cars. Now that he’s basically on mostly equal hardware, it’ll be better.
Or right? To get F1 on a playing field with Indy Car, it pretty much have to make it a psuedo spec series. F1 has never been that. Indy Car only has since the split.Just goes to show a driver like Grosjean, struggling for points in his final 2 seasons has the talent to go and beat some great drivers. Shows a lot of what's wrong with F1 really.
Or that IndyCar is populated by average drivers, of course...
You mean Santino Ferrucci isn’t world beating?
“Average” drivers. Maybe average of the best drivers.
Looking at the age of many of the indycar drivers, he’s got at least ten more years to add to his careerHoffman900 wrote: ↑17 May 2021, 13:50“Average” drivers. Maybe average of the best drivers.
Romain is fast when his head is right, his Junior career shows that. A lot of people forget that due to silly mistakes and mid/back marker cars.
But now Ericsson is a race winner thereHoffman900 wrote: ↑17 May 2021, 13:50“Average” drivers. Maybe average of the best drivers.
