That's about 50 cups of fuel added for his final run in Q3.

 Just pulling his leg.

I believe F1 actually uses dual units for temperature and speed now considering the larger American viewership which is expected to increase even more after the Drive to Survive Netflix series.
lol if we can’t laugh here, what’s the point?
Excuse me, my Fun-ometer just went off the scale! If I sense you having a laugh, enjoying yourself even a little, you'll be hung, drawn and quartered!

Tell me about it. If it were Austin he might be excused for obvious reasons, but he is quite bold-faced to use such an abhorrent unit this side of the millennium. A handful of "freedom units" like Psi, miles per hour, pounds, inches are borderline acceptable, but Fahrenheit?!! Fahrenheit?! Next thing you know he's talking about Btus and Cubits. That sort of stuff doesn't belong near anything made after 1970, OK Zibby?
Hey man, Zibby continues to carry the torch for the few of us ‘Muricans that are here (even if we mostly lurk)!
Haha I appreciate that support from a fellow countryman.

Just to clarify though, b2bL44 are just busting each other’s chops.

He’d weep at the majesty of a bald Eagle in real life. I know that.
Harpy eagle: AM I A JOKE TO YOU?

Pfft, majesty of a bald eagle? How can an eagle have any majesty if it can't even pluck the average 'Murican off the ground mid-flight?

We only really have to worry if people start talking about measurements in terms of cups :)
You know all too well fuel is not measured by volume, but by weight.
So that would (depending on strategy) result in 13 stone of fuel ...

True, true . . . but, I'm sure the Bald Eagle would have the advantage over the Harpy through the tight twists and turns of the streets of Monte Carlo. Shorter wheelba . . . er, wingspan, and all that.

And just like that, we have totally not hijacked the race thread.

Updated weather!

Saturday: High of 16 C (61 F) and cloudy

Sunday: High of 18 C (65) and mostly sunny

Fairly close to the initial forecast, but Monaco has its own little microclimate, so reliability greatly increases the closer we get to the on-track action.

There is one simple solution - get rid off Monaco GP.
Unacepptable. It's an icon. =D>

Yes there is no overtaking, but it's one of my favourite Grand Prixs. It's one of the few circuits that goes all the way back to the European Drivers' Championship (and even before that!) so it needs to stay IMO.

While there are other street circuits, the Monte Carlo circuit is really one of the definitive street circuits with its iconic layout.

Apart from Bahrain all the race weekends so far have been quite cool. Unfortunately minimal chance of rain for Sunday, would have really spiced things up.

Was just thinking that myself when I saw that forecast. Might help Merc not overheat the rears on the softer compounds, as that tends to be Merc's issue on rear-limited circuits.

Ha! That’s great. Imperial measurements are totally bonkers when you really analyse them. And that one ONLY covered lengths.

Pre decimal money in the uk as well. #-o

Or roughly 1.08 Hulkenbergs. Which I propose as the new unit of measurement. :)
