Why? Race pace probably be better then Ferrari, he will surely get a podium in that “dog” car.
This is Monaco. You can be seconds a lap slower and stay ahead.
Undercut or overcut whatever, race pace should be miles ahead.
you haven't watched 2013 monaco gp i guess.

No confidence in the car, after fp3.
His last lap he was sliding like a in the ski
less than perfect car and the 7 time world champion looked like a mid-field driver. no tyre whispering whatsover!
Kind of sounds like you don't really understand what people mean when they say tire whisperer.

How can people tell that was intentional from Leclerc? Are you all serious?
Have you even seen the replay? (I have)

He turned in early on purpose expecting minimal damage, but maximum plausibility.
Let's just assume he actually did crash intentionally, would Leclerc's pole time have been eclipsed by anyone other than maybe Bottas or Verstappen on that lap?. Here are mini-sectors of drivers at the time of the crash, yellow = slower than personal best, green = personal best, purple = session best.

90% gearbox is damaged. The driveshaft was torn apart and the lateral impact was pretty hard. Also, if you are to crash on purpose, you just crash the front end. Nobody's that stupid to risk getting a penalty when you're P1 and in the worst case you'd end up P2.
No way the gearbox was going to be damaged if u look closely u have only the front susp and the front wing thats it

Verstappen beats his teammate by 1 sec, Hamilton loses to his teammate by 0.5 sec. Verstappen is clearly the faster driver by now, I think it's not even a question.
so youre making this claim from 1 session.... nice logic you got there...i guess you seem to have forgotten the last 6 years...

What i would do if i wanted to crash on purpose is keeping the car straight after the initial impact and putting it into the wall nose first - he tried to go for the apex in the left hander, damaging his rear quarter badly in the process.

it simply shows what happens when you don't have a dominant car.

I think he got a bit of an unlucky bounce which brought the back around. He was actually going pretty straight until then.

When Schumacher did it, it was so bad. Rosberg too. This is at least a good effort at a crash.

He clearly is steering to the left even before hitting the curb with his front wheels. But whatever ...

Yeah the Merc is a bit of a dog round here by the look of it. Bottas is doing a great job.
Hamilton is doing a dog performance, car itself is not so bad. Verstappen just put 1s on perez in Q3, i guess RB is an even bigger dog of a car then.
Lol when Hamilton struggles the Merc is a dog. Bottas was right up there and was in for a shout of Pole. This is one of those off days Hamilton has.

Lando I think has now arrived in F1. He is really a great asset now for Mclaren no wonder they extended his contract. Giovinazzi too is thriving this year too. Vettel is quietly improving he is starting to look better in the car.

Bottas will win. Usually when Hamilton is out of it he wins. Leclerc has the harder job here as he will be have both Max and Bottas in his window, his best bet is to slow the pace down to not give Max and Bottas a gap to fall into behind.
