2 drivers on hard, 4 on medium. Might be a smart strategy to pit very late indeed when the field is spread.

Hopefully, Sainz gets past Bottas as the start so we have a race to watch.

Verstappen is taking all the space in the pit box again. So surprised no one else has copied it!

I don’t think he fancied being put in the wall and fair enough. Very aggressive but fair from Verstappen.

Bottas all over Max's gearbox and appears to have more pace so strategy will be very interesting

Yeah I spoke too soon. Hadn't saw the replay at that point. Just looked like a really bad start that could have been capitalized on

Verstappen with an engine problem of some sorts? losing 0.4s in tunnel every lap and 14 kmh down on bottas.

edit.
perez has 17 kmh more speed in tunnel compared to verstappen, also without slipstream.

Hamilton to play the “wingman” role today and be a roadblock for Max? That could be the fun part of this race

Nah. He looks like he’s going just fine. Probably just doing what he needs to.

He 100% has a problem. Every other honda powered car has 15-20 kmh advantage on him in tunnel and thats not normal. It's also not normal bottas is able to gain 0.4s every lap trough there.

If he has an issue we would have heard on the team radio. Max is very quick to complain about loss of power.

We'll know after the race, but given how bottas is keeping up with him i'm fairly certain not everything is ok.
