I wonder what the pod is that's supported from the rear tyre gantry and sits directly above the centre of the car. Anyone have any ideas.

I would guess cameras to have footage to evaluate after each GP.

Yes, makes sense. I wonder if it also allows them to live monitor the four corners to ensure an early drop/release doesn't happen.

Anyone else noticed the hammer and spanner (?) on the floor next to the right rear wheel? Maybe unlike Mercedes RB has a backup system if the nut gets machined?

Edit: It also seems like they have 2 versions, the second one with trimmed flap.

Second version seems to also be a lot shallower.

Some of that is an optical illusion from a different angle. Check the main plane and how it's attached to the endplate. In the other wing versions the main plane is attached at different heights of the end plate, but on V1 and V2 they are the same. V2 does have a different DRS flap.

the second version image has also been flipped horizontally, it took me a second to notice it, but my mind was saying something is wrong here.

That bottom main plane is one of the most intricate I have seen from RBR so far.

Considering the groans of cost from Horner about rear wing changes, I find it ironic how developed this wing is for this circuit.

Impressive nonetheless, I wonder if having a flat endplate is a easy win for reducing drag of the rear wing?
