I would say it was a mistake and not luck, but indeed it keeps the championship in the balance.El Scorchio wrote: ↑06 Jun 2021, 16:52Ah well that just sounds like horrible luck. Guess it balances out with Verstappen’s horrible luck too.RZS10 wrote: ↑06 Jun 2021, 16:47That was the radio transmission:AMG.Tzan wrote: ↑06 Jun 2021, 16:45So Hamilton's lock up...was it a driver error or a consequence of his brakes overheating?? Or 50-50??
Lewis has so much experience now...i wouldn't expect such a silly mistake from him! Maybe he got carried away...
Anyway, Hamilton and Verstapen dropping out gave us an epic podium!! That's great for Formula 1!!
"Did i have the magic on?"
"Yea, but, yea just knock that off"
"I could have sworn i turned it off"
"Yea you did, but knocked it on with the upshift"
So he did not make a huge mistake by letting the mode on but must've touched the lever/button or whatever they use with some upshift.

We're all fans of this sport and this is something truly cruel and unfair, but this is what happens in Motorsport, and hopefully afterwards we will find the answers to these problems. Let's all just be a bit more civil to each other.
Definitely, Pirelli should be ashamed for the crap they've produced. They should pay for the damage they have caused both cars.fritticaldi wrote: ↑06 Jun 2021, 16:56Who wants this F1. ? These races are far too dependant on tyres. The tyres are made to self destruct to add excitement and unpredictability. We saw today that a driver can get seriously hurt. F1 needs another tyre manufacturer to make a tyre war. Shame on Pirelli for providing unworthy tyres.
Speak for yourself, I want this F1. I am enjoying watching it so much more than the last 7 years of utter domination by Mercedes.fritticaldi wrote: ↑06 Jun 2021, 16:56Who wants this F1. ? I'm going to have to disagree with this, because I don't think a driver's life is worth additional entertainment.grubschumi13 wrote: ↑06 Jun 2021, 17:07Speak for yourself, I want this F1. No one knows the cause yet of these deflations. You are jumping to conclusions too soon.dans79 wrote: ↑06 Jun 2021, 17:09I'm going to have to disagree with this, because I don't think a driver's life is worth additional entertainment.grubschumi13 wrote: ↑06 Jun 2021, 17:07Speak for yourself, I want this F1.
