Anyways, it's looking closer than I thought it would be. I thought MB would be 0.2 ahead here. Let's see if it's like that tomorrow.

Where is Will Buxton this weekend? Did anyone hear anything?
Not sure if its connected, but he had an Instagram post about getting an anxiety attack on his way to do a Covid test in the lead up to Baku. He missed that race and now this one. Hope all is good with him.

Broadcasting teams also seem to rotate personnel (Ted Kravitz, Brundle missed a few races) which I think could also be a reason.

I got lucky last week to be picked by Marc Priestley as one of the winners of a Virtual Paddock Club pass for this race, was hoping to chat with Will but cant really complain.

The official qualifying session to determine the starting grid for the French GP clashes with the Euro football match France VS Hungary. I am surprised nothing was done to avoid two important sporting events beginning at the same time.

There is only one sporting event. The other is a football game. Where's the problem?
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.

Blind people see 11 man running towards and with the ball. Others see game plan, strategy and tactics. I love both F1 and football.

You most likely have about 5 to 10 screens in the house ?
But with F1TV: avoid the newssites, watch it an hour later ?

Wow...this track

Some folks think it is as boring as watching paint dry??? To me it is more like watching dry paint fade #-o

Based on lap data from fia.com race pace seems to be close between RB and Merc ((not accounting fuel load, power mode etc), contrary to expectations. Tyre wear might be slightly better with Merc. Also weird that fia.com website doesn't have the tyre info against the laptimes!
