Why is Horner talking about payback? Payback is when someone does something bad to you.

Cracking race, but just can't see Red Bull and Max losing these championships. Merc trying so hard is causing them to make mistake after mistake. Can't believe Bottas didn't even get fastest lap. Championship battle is only going to get wider.

I just don’t understand why they didn’t put Lewis on lap 43, he would have hunted max down no problem
like ham did at first pit?

Mudflap hinted before he left and had his posts deleted that there was turnover at Mercedes, and that there might be some struggles. This was before the season started...

Nice throw by Mercedes at the first stop. They stopped Bottas first to jump Max, whereas they should've stopped Hamilton first to ensure retaining track position. Dirty air was too powerful to overcome, and Lewis would've been fine from Max on equal tires.

too bad bottas once again cracked under a slight bit of pressure from the car behind.... as soon as max got DRS he outbraked himself and let him throught...hoenstly had bottas held him off until the next lap it wouldve been enough to keep max from passing ham

Developing next years car, confident this year is so far ahead it can easily win is nothing any turnover would cause.

If they were developing and losing yeah fair enough. But we can all see the lack of development and even Toto said the same in Monaco.

The strategy team are the same too, so the loss today is also nothing to do with turnover.

My take away is that on a weekend when Mercedes has the pace to win they still throw away the victory through incompetent strategy. But it doesn't surprise me because they haven't really been tested through the championship years. Definite weak spot for the team.

Great on Red Bull's call to pull Verstappen in on the second stop to hold off Hamilton from undercutting them. Great job by all top 4 today

Which is why they pitted Bottas first rather than protect Hamilton's track position. Riiighht.

Usual crap from Horner.

Maybe, just maybe , it was Payback for Lewis doing that to Max twice now?
