On the fifth day of testing at Jerez de la Frontera, Williams F1 Team driver Kazuki Nakajima was the fastest man on track with a lap time of 1:17.494. McLaren's Heikki Kovalainen clocked a fastest lap of 1:17.933.

For all latest test I saw only Renault and Macca to use paint to track the air flow. As fas as I remember, Renault used it only once, but Macca did it every day until the last test. So, should mean they still have problems and trying to solve them. The other theory that they calibrate the CFD/wind tunnel data with the on-track data, to use it for the in-season development doesn't not hold to me. If this was the case, then I see no reason why the others are not doing the same, given the in-season testing ban
