Sensational?
1. Get good start, person in front has bad start.
2. Procession because modern F1 and Pirelli
3. ???????
4. SENSATIONAL
3. heroically holds off hamilton with blistered tyres /s/ :!:
He had an amazing start and did hold off Hamilton's attack in the early laps. What more can you expect from a pole?

I rather have them make it a 2 day event practice on saturday qually and race on sunday Ross Brawn should accept people have lives next to F1 cant spend weekend after weekend home to watch this its all about the race in the end
I 100% agree but FOM want more viewership on Friday. It's about money and if the numbers show more then they're more likely to keep it

Rubbish.

1. The only one bright side was Alonso and only beacuse of tyres.
2. If someone will hit you during sprint - your race on Sunday is over. This is ridicules.
3. Tyres are awful, mediums barely last 17 laps of hard pushing oO

Ps: Max again ate Hamilton, excelent anyway!

I liked this mini race.
I liked it too.

Finally you could see some speed in there.

And great for the fans as well.
Nothing to be excited about really. Doesnt look any different than average starts or endings of normal races. No rewards for midfielders apart from gaining a place or two...
If i would get the money to start my own F1 team, i would revive Arrows

What they should have done is forced everybody on the soft. At least then it might have been slightly fun to watch.

I feel as though I just watched the first stint of a race and then it ended before any of the fun.

Aren't you allowed to change direction only once on the straight 🤔

Max was weaving when Hamilton was close by. That's a clear infringement.
It was already illegal on 2011 too and Hamilton did that many times in Sepang. Needless to say he got away with it.....

There was some mayhem at the back, great lap 1 from Alonso.
Perez booting himself out of competition.
And the fight back from Carlos.

The top 4 were set in lap 1, and the Mclarens slotted into their natural positions.

We also get the knowledge that Verstappen does have the pace to keep Hamilton at bay, yay...

This weekend has already been a nightmare for me in that regard...

For a sport that is pushing towards carbon neutrality. What is the point cruising with the truck around the track?

Yeah my wife was already pissed about the disruption to the usual weekend schedule and the extra stolen time. I think I'll skip the next sprint races
