Someone just needs to tell Marco to shut up calling for Louis to be suspended....
It’s just hot air and pure politicking. He doesn’t believe that in the slightest.

The penalty makes no sense - it’s one thing to say it wasn’t a rule break (which I would strongly disagree with) but if you rule that a rule was broken then a 10 second time penalty makes zero sense. It’s either no penalty or a minimum of a stop/go.

I don’t have the data and not enginner but by past races. This race is clear 2 stops with this softer tyres and hot it is. But that’s my feeling

Genuinely don't think he'll be able to get past that Ferrari until the pits, but then he would have to serve the penalty

It's the annoying thing about Red Bull. They build great cars but they play the noisy public moaning so much it makes it difficult to like them.
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.

I think Max will have to learn from this.

He fights so aggressively in every battle.

Usually other cars will back off (as Hamilton has done all year), but this is what can happen when they don't and he has a championship to win this year.

I think he should make up 10s quite easily if he gets past LEC.
Yep Sky are talking like it’s a race ending penalty. He could easily still win here.
They seemed to assume it was a stop/go, which it isn’t.

Agreed. Hamilton will be lucky to be on the podium let alone win this race.

So you are saying that all collisions should be a stop & go?

We had probably four or five of these kinds of fights between lewis and max (Imola, Barcelona, Portugal and Silverstone two corners earlier). In each of those, Max would take the whole track going on the inside and literally leaving lewis no room at all. Lewis here even left room. There is no rule saying you have to hit an apex but there is a rule saying you have to leave room to another driver that is alongside of you (which Max didn;t do a single time before).
