Front wing has changed a bit as well.

Its not that the wing has changed... that 4 level wing was a monaco spec wing for max downforce rather than a 3 plane mid downforce track like Austraiia, we'll probly see that 4 plane wing again at Monaco, Hungary, singapore and maybe Valencia.

Better pic here, they've gone for the new exhaust outlets on both sides...liking the look of the back end of this car. Looks much sleeker.

Just a thought, but I read somewhere that BMW's protest on the three 'diffuser row' cars was too late and so couldn't be counted. Does this mean that if the teams didn't protest Mclaren officially this race that there would be no way for their points to be rescinded?

Have they removed the upper part of the diffuser behind the blanking plates to extend the height? It seems the logical thing to do, but looking at the top edge of the diffuser running left to right it looks intact.

I was just thinking that. If it weren't for the great big slit down the middle, I'd believe that it isn't coming out. They could've masked the join but I don't see why you'd bother when there is that great big crack down the middle. Could it be flexible? Ie when they get up to speed the ends bend out opening a channel? Would this be allowed?

I agree, only explanation other than that would be to bleed some pressure.

There's also no visible sculpting of the crash structure, which you would expect to be essential for it to work properly...

'I have a feeling the protest vs Brawn, Williams and Toyota will fail. More likely is that others will copy the diffuser, some already have...'

Since Ferrari, Renault, Red bull and BMW protested we can assume it's none of them.

Macca + Force India could = some?

I've read BMW have a version (Mario quote), but they want clarity before fitting it.
