Its not that the wing has changed... that 4 level wing was a monaco spec wing for max downforce rather than a 3 plane mid downforce track like Austraiia, we'll probly see that 4 plane wing again at Monaco, Hungary, singapore and maybe Valencia.bonjon1979 wrote:It looks like they've gone back to the old front wing for the Melbourne GP: Follow the link below and look at the macca pic.twoshots wrote:Front wing has changed a bit as well.

Yep does look that way.bonjon1979 wrote:If this isn't a Brawn style diffuser with blanking plates than I'll eat my hat...

Have they removed the upper part of the diffuser behind the blanking plates to extend the height? It seems the logical thing to do, but looking at the top edge of the diffuser running left to right it looks intact.imightbewrong wrote:

They could've masked the join but I don't see why you'd bother when there is that great big crack down the middle. Could it be flexible? Ie when they get up to speed the ends bend out opening a channel? Would this be allowed?
I've read BMW have a version (Mario quote), but they want clarity before fitting it.bonjon1979 wrote:This is what James Allen says:

Since Ferrari, Renault, Red bull and BMW protested we can assume it's none of them.
Macca + Force India could = some?
Enough speculation, roll on tomorrow. I better do some work or I'll lose my job.
I'll second that.bonjon1979 wrote:I better do some work or I'll lose my job.
