If ture, I expect we will see lots of huffing and puffing from Horner and Marko!

No doubt, but just imagine how unbearable they would be if it had of succeeded

Red Bull (ab)used the Pirelli tyre test to have Albon try out various lines through the corner trying to get a harsher penalty for Hamilton ... astonishing, truly astonishing ...
I don’t even know why they were allowed to present that rubbish. Obviously inadmissible from the get-go. Cut them short, ask them to move on.
Team ANTI-HYPE. Prove it, then I’ll anoint you.

They also put Sergio in the simulator to re-create stuff.

Not the wisest allocation of resources.

Well they were allowed to present whatever they wanted to, theoretically they could have included all the ranting from twitter, reddit and some of the worst one sided views from here in a big folder, all printed out ...

They compared it to the Leclerc situation which was obviously completely different from the onset so it was completely pointless to bring it up.

The stewards noted that evidence submitted in support of a request for review must be “‘discovered’ (as opposed to created)”.
Ouch

Wow did RB not know the evidence had to be new… and not just in a different format?

How much wasted time & energy went into that ?

Entire thing was nonsense.

The FIA should have a stipulation that requires a mill deposited in the FIAs bank if you choose this process. You lose it if you fail in your bid…and it comes out of the cap.

I wonder what the last sentence is about.

"The Stewards note, with some concern, certain allegations made in the Competitor's above letter. Such allegations may or may not have been relevant to the stewards if the Petition for Review had been granted. The Stewards may have addressed these allegations directly in any decision that would have followed. The Petition having been dismissed, the Stewards make no comments on those allegations."

What an thoroughly embarrassing affair this has been for F1.
At least the book can now be closed on it.

I'm really not sure RBR have exactly endeared themselves to the stewards or race director through all this, either. (In reference to the quote posted by RZS10 above.)

I believe that is indeed the case! There is a non-refundable cost to appeal IIRC. Of course this might not be considered an appeal.

If I’m not wrong, the request for appeal has a non-refundable cost of 6k… Not “a lot” in the big scheme of things for the teams.
