Well they were allowed to present whatever they wanted to, theoretically they could have included all the ranting from twitter, reddit and some of the worst one sided views from here in a big folder, all printed out ...

They compared it to the Leclerc situation which was obviously completely different from the onset so it was completely pointless to bring it up.

The FIA should have a stipulation that requires a mill deposited in the FIAs bank if you choose this process. You lose it if you fail in your bid…and it comes out of the cap.

Such allegations may or may not have been relevant to the stewards if the Petition for Review had been granted. At least the book can now be closed on it.

I'm really not sure RBR have exactly endeared themselves to the stewards or race director through all this, either. (In reference to the quote posted by RZS10 above.)

I believe that is indeed the case! There is a non-refundable cost to appeal IIRC. Of course this might not be considered an appeal.

If I’m not wrong, the request for appeal has a non-refundable cost of 6k… Not “a lot” in the big scheme of things for the teams.
