As long as his car and engine remain reliable, and Hamilton doesn’t try anything questionable again, Max will probably win this weekend.

There’s no need to get involved in all the petty antics that some people want to drag him into. His driving will do the talking.

I assume you are talking about those created by the management staff of his team!

Makes sense right, much less stress on them at this track (even though it is apparently now a medium corner track as drivers said last race, it's still not high speed cornering like there).

That’s gotta make Merc happy, especially.

At the risk of continuing the saga ( I hope not) I have to say I was impressed with Max response to the interviews and 'fishing expeditions' I have seen so far.
He has made it plain that his job is on the track and he does not want to get involved in muck slinging . Well done that man, goes up in my estimation (again)
When arguing with a fool, be sure the other person is not doing the same thing.

Exactly what I was thinking. I was very surprised to see Lewis qualify fastest despite not the best lap from him. And in the sprint race he was able to sit right with Max for over half the race despite the dirty air and balloon tyres. Will be very interesting this weekend.

where exactly in the video time wise? I can't watch the driver interviews in full anymore, the fan and reporter video cut ins are horrendous.

Right around 5:45. Question that prompts the response starts just before.

That’s because we were running the C1-C3 tyre range in Silverstone, which benefits Mercedes massively. Mercedes also was the best car in Portugal and Spain on those tyres.

Apart from Zandvoort and Suzuka, we will not see that tyre range again for the rest of the season.

One of the reasons Mercedes struggled in some of the previous circuits, was the combination of C4/C5 compounds and lack of high downforce corners due to which, their car was unable to sufficiently put heat in all four tyres. Silverstone provided high downforce corners and without the softest compounds in the range, they appeared to have matched Red Bull. How effective their upgrades are, is yet to be fully seen.

I wonder how they’ll police side-by-side action into the right-handed at T3. If you’re on the outside you really should yield or keep your foot in it & prepare to run off-track. We’ll see how it’s stewarded given how bad they messed up last race at Copse.

But Lewis is one calculated crash away from leading the championship.

Let's see if octocrasher will strike again.
