At some point Hamilton was 20 seconds behind Ocon, now he is basically within a 10 lap striking distance at this pace.

He's on much older tyres and doing the same lap time as he's sat behind Sainz.

He crashed with Hamilton in Silverstone, what's your point? I was differentiating it from other crashes. Do we just Voldemort it?
Ok bud. I don’t understand the Voldemort reference.
It's a Harry Potter thing - no one says his name for fear of him appearing.

Can Hamilton clear Tsunoda? If not, pitting will be pretty risky. Then he'll have to pass Alonso who will be on tyres nearly as fresh. Then he'll have to pass Sainz to make it worth it...

Another couple of laps, if Sainz maintains this pace...

Hamilton has the gap to pit and just shade out in front of Tsunoda. Sainz could do that too...but they'd need to pass a fresh-booted Alonso.

For differing reasons, this race has shown how great both Hamilton and Verstappen are. If I didn’t think DOD was stupid, I’d vote for Verstappen.

1.18.7 bro. 3 seconds faster than the leader?. It looks like an absolute formality now for the win.
