Kimi half a second slower than Mick......... Alfa should give that seat to a younger driver that actually deserves it

Alonso much slower than Ocon, almost a second. He shows some flashes of brilliance but also some very poor performances. It reminds me a lot of MSC, on his comeback

Mercedes making it difficult for themselves again.

The production is wonky. Playing Stroll over Martin talking and then repeating it.

The strongest candidate for pole has just justified that member who said Raidilion to be dangerous

Oval track guys learned you don’t countersteer in corners like that, lest you go head first when it grabs.

It steps out, you go two feet in.

Do we want parking lots like Paul Ricard or do we want Spa?

Rain is always dangerous.

He still went for it. So he felt the car could make it.

The problem I have with today's drivers is that they don't believe in slowing down in wet conditions!

In the past cars were driving in monsoons and staying on track. It's not the tyres of course? Today's tyres are engineering wonders. It's that the drivers don't want to slow down according to the track conditions. Can't really blame tyre temps can we?

Such a shame for Lando - he was very likely to take pole and now will start 10th - assuming the car doesn't need PU/gearbox replacements.
