Do we have any historic data for expected lap-times and pit strategies?

Is turn 7 going to be flat? Or a lift? Seems similar to Pouhon

I see this as a very strong Merc track.

They moved the whole pitlane entry and exit last year and the circuit is only really been used for club racing since the last GP in 1985 (except for DTM with pitstops)

Going to be a down hill short brake and “dropping” into the corner at the bottom. This is one of those corners where you hold your breath every time you take it and where you can loose seconds if you don’t “get” it or have the confidence.

Looks like there’s a possibility of rain for the race… :?

Wow, there isn't much room behind the garages for the team's trucks, is there. Very old school. Where will they put their pop-up gin palaces?
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.

Turns 4,5,6,7,8 look like they may be flat out in current cars... If 13 and 14 are as well, this could be a SNOOZEFEST procession.

I hope it is the best race of the year so far, however! We need something to make us forget about Belgium and their soggy waffles until next year...

Another track where pole is going to be essential. I think it's going to be a procession with 13 and 14 being far too fast for cars to get close enough to attempt a pass in to 1.

11 might be the best chance if someone gets their line wrong / don't get good traction through 9 and 10.

Getting side-by-side will be super key, I agree! Just to push someone slightly offline for this very effect.

The other question is the undercut. The number of changes of direction is many, thus high degradation can be expected and a strong undercut?

What's the surface like?
