This Vettel thing is a bit rubbish. He probably got knocked out because of it. Sure they might penalise a Haas but it doesn’t help the victim. It’s always annoyed me.

Yeah a 5 place grid penalty is not going to do a lot for Nikita....

Trouble is, both Haas in the way, give them 10 place penalities, they still start in the same place. Those guys are immune to grid penalties

Williams has made some good staffing choices over the last 4-6 months, might finally be coming around and the energy must be getting a lot better in Williams.

Never thought LAT was slow, but does need to be pushed it seems. Those Williams and GIO. Wow. Amazing stuff to see such a jumbled up order.

The track evolution was crazy. It was atleast 0.5s odd from the start of Q1 to the end of it. If this continues, the time will definitely fall to mid 1.08s (forget high), maybe even low 1.08s.

This is what happens when the gap between the cars are small. Bottas has more points than Perez & he is being dropped. RB won't win the constructors with Perez given how weak he is in qualifying.

Another thing is Mercedes looks like the quickest car on the grid with Lewis having 3-4 tenths up on Max (assuming a 0.5s difference between C3 & C4). He was 0.1s down with the Mediums. Maybe Mercedes works better with the Mediums but surely it looks like the quickest. Can Max make up 4 tenths ??? Williams as a car also looks okay. I mean even Latifi is doing decent - Russel is awesome as we know. Ferrari & Alpine look quicker than Mclaren & Ashton Martin !

I think RB still has the one lap pace, I think Merc is looking strong on race pace.

IMHO and things aren’t set in stone yet.

I hope they bluffed the grid and did a slow lap on softs so they can go out and improve on Mediums in a minute.
