God. Jonathan Wheatley is ‘busy’ isn’t he…
Let it go.
First time I’ve mentioned it. You on the other hand have been making those silly statements for weeks and weeks.

Of course it does. Imagine this being Q3 with 2 minutes on the clock, you seriously believe they wouldn't wait for 2 hours if neccesary to repair the track or whatever? I, and I suspect many more, could care less about F3 or W series.
That is a terrible attitude IMO!

With 2 minutes left and barrier damage, Q3 would also be abandoned.

Why is session not going to be restarted?? There's 1.38 on the lock and out-lap can be only 1.15-1.20. This isn't spa in the wet with 2m30s outlaps. Seriously?
With slow driving on pit exit and slow traffic building space towards the last corner, I doubt more than 2 or 3 will be positioned to take advantage.
So the end of Q2 would effectively become a race for the pit lane exit. Dangerous and lottery at the same time. Common sense from the race directors to stop it, IMO.
Rivals, not enemies.

What happens to the race start tires now? Most teams would have been on used sets for a banker lap.

F1 is the premier series, others can race but should always adjust to F1's needs, even if that means cancellation of events, and I believe that's usually been the case.

Do someone have telemetry of showing gaps between drivers during their outlap in Q1? Horner said both that Red Bull could've put him out sooner, but also that Perez could've gone faster on his outlap. So would've been interesting if it were a repeat of Hungary, or indeed there was a bit more space as Horner suggested.

Track evolution is quite rapid so I am not sure early times will stand. This will go into low 1'08s probably or mid by the end of Q3. Mercedes have half a tenth in the big. But their car is quicker, 2-3 tenths but it is not working the softs as good as the RB & RB has Verstappen.

This track is fun & unforgiving. If they had a way to double the main straight, this would be a modern day classic like Suzuka or Spa or Monza. Ideal pitstop strategy is 2 with the huge strain on tyres & 70 laps but due to lack of overtaking chances, some may risk a 1 stopper.

And Mercedes have been crashing for weeks and weeks, what do you want me to do, not notice things? How many coincidences do we need before we can determine a pattern? 3 4 11 33 44 77?
