What'd you expect? Anyway, it is all about Max "Superstar" Verstappen and the mighty Red Bull - Honda!
Verstappen = 2021 WDC

LMAO as if that would ever happen. Good job by Hamilton, I look forward to a good race.
By 1 tenth. Otherwise Lewis would be on pole. He beat Max's earlier by half a tenth odd.Marty_Y wrote: ↑04 Sep 2021, 16:27He did improveJordanMugen wrote: ↑04 Sep 2021, 16:24Nice routine Verstappen pole!

Though only 0.03s in it in the end. No improvement on Max's final lap.
He did improve by 0.07 if I recall correctlt. Crucial enough to hold Ham on P2JordanMugen wrote: ↑04 Sep 2021, 16:24Nice routine Verstappen pole!

True. Thankfully it wasn't a routine Hamilton pole, as it has been for so many years and as it would have been if Red Bull, Honda and Verstappen didn't have the pace. Fortunately they do have the pace, and the Red Bull - Honda & Verstappen combo is simply lovely.godlameroso wrote: ↑04 Sep 2021, 16:27LMAO as if that would ever happen. It's plainly obvious that the Red Bull is the quicker car.grubschumi13 wrote: ↑04 Sep 2021, 16:23This season has been Max vs Mercedes. Really he is putting that RBR where it does not belong.
100% driver, 0% carxaero wrote: ↑04 Sep 2021, 16:25which world you are in. RB is a at least a notch faster than merc. 6 poles in last 7 races.grubschumi13 wrote: ↑04 Sep 2021, 16:23This season has been Max vs Mercedes. Really he is putting that RBR where it does not belong.
Yeh, a car on pole for what is it, 6 of the last 7 races, really doesn't deserve to be on polegrubschumi13 wrote: ↑04 Sep 2021, 16:23This season has been Max vs Mercedes. Really he is putting that RBR where it does not belong.
it really just goes to show that this car is designed to primarily suit max. he has a very distinct driving style that no other rb driver can handle.Just_a_fan wrote: ↑04 Sep 2021, 16:30It's plainly obvious that the Red Bull is the quicker car.grubschumi13 wrote: ↑04 Sep 2021, 16:23This season has been Max vs Mercedes. No driver can driver faster than the car can go. It's simply impossible. The best drivers get the most from the car available to them. That's always been the way since day one of motor racing.
We are great sports..
Exactly Lewis was 0.038 behind in the end, if Max hadn't improved on his final lap Lewis would have had pole.Mr.S wrote: ↑04 Sep 2021, 16:28By 1 tenth. Otherwise Lewis would be on pole. Well, if Perez has been proven to only be able to extract less than 100% of the RB16B, why is it impossible for Hamilton/Bottas to be below 100% in the Merc?Just_a_fan wrote: ↑04 Sep 2021, 16:30It's plainly obvious that the Red Bull is the quicker car.grubschumi13 wrote: ↑04 Sep 2021, 16:23This season has been Max vs Mercedes. Or it's just built in the direction which is fastest? It's not like Benetton for instance deliberately made a car that was hard to drive, they just made the fastest car they could. It's not up to them to reinvent the wheel so Verstappen Snr, Herbert, Alesi or Berger could drive it better. Same goes for Red Bull.
Fortunately.
