Race has not even started yet and already 47 pages of discussion. Must a record of some sorts for this forum. In general I'm noticing this year race threads have like double or triple the amount of posts compared to previous years.
If only they had double or triple the quality

There was a question in the RBR thread whether they'd be allowed to change the DRS on Max' car. They did. New DRS actuator.
They didn’t had to, because he doesn’t need it this race. 8)

If ever a drive screams ‘yeah I’m gone’ it’s Bottas’ today.

Max effect
Correct, it exposes the Hamilton fans
I think it’s more the Netflix effect. Where the racing / technology is second to the personalities / tribalism / the politicking, etc.

Hence why tech talk here is lacking anymore and it’s all emotional arguments.

BOT too slow again... Business as usual today.
Still, not extremely far away from Lewis... compared to the teammate gap in some other teams.

Seriously.

While I don’t think he’ll be at Merc next year, it was a dumb comment.

And now, wait for Bottas to be sacrificed. He might not be fast enough to compete, but he's fast enough to be cannon fodder.

You gotta laugh at Alonso. He went from Ocon on his tail to a 5 second gap when they told him he was holding Ocon up.

Well yeah. He could have fallen onto his own sword like Sergio yesterday and then again 8 laps into the race.

I’m sure Horner will try to spin it to be Toto’s fault

Oh yeah, not criticizing; he's doing the job that perez should be doing too.

Sounds like Mercedes has a cunning plan up their sleeves, or at least I hope they do.

I wonder if Hamilton having those 2nd Mediums will come into play.

I think he was referring to the backmarkers not Bottas.
