Re: Will new diffusers be installed before quali?

Post

I predict a double decker diffuser on at least one team before qualifying (assuming it can be done within the rules). I also predict that every team will have double deckers for Malaysia.

Those who think the teams aren't capable of building such parts in this time frame (of course out of carbon fiber) are misinformed.

Vettels car broke a wheel hub.

Adrian sure makes the components fragile.

Rosberg, Trulli , Button, Massa is the order.

If this is true pace with the new diffusors McLaren will not get to the 3rd qually.

Ross talks about team work and praises McMerc for helping with the program.

Re: Will new diffusers be installed before quali?

So they are going to re-design a portion of the rear end to accomodate the Williams-esque diffuser all while that same diffuser design may or may not be declared illegal on April 14th at the FIA Appeal Court hearing?

Whats the point of protesting and appealing if they are going to copy it?

Maybe Renault would be the only team without a version of their own, since they are known to be on the cheapskate side. But RBR, Ferrari, and BMW would surely design and develop on of their own. Briatore is the only one who keeps on b*tching about Ross Brawn.

RBR's Christian Horner has said that his team is already looking into alternatives, which obviously means the Williams-esque diffuser. But until then they will have to manage without it, which is quite obvious as well.

A lot of super soft tyres are being used up just to stay in the hunt in qualifying.

It's quite amazing how the Red Bulls are out pacing the Ferraris. And at times, when Vettel or Webber could put together a near-perfect lap, they're up there with the Brawns! This certainly is my kind of racing! No predictability...well, except for the Brawns of course. (EDIT: oooo! ooo! and the Williams...how could I forget that...)

I do hope that the political heads at the WMSC would heed logic over money/influence and deem these double-deckers completely legal.

I'm already wetting myself waiting for Q3!

So...where's my apologies from those saying Brawn were underweight in testing? I take Paypal and Cheques - whichever is more convenient.
