1. Told to deliberately not go for fastest lap in Zandvoort despite pitting for fresh tyres.
2. Told to deliberately slow down in Singapore so Hamilton would emerge from the pits ahead of him, despite Bottas having the undercut.

I'm sure there are more I cannot remember.
Team orders are not disgusting, or it only appears to be so by some when its Mercedes doing it. Mercedes want maximum points for Themselves and Lewis at the business end of the season. Id understand if they asked Bottas to slow down and it caused him a place , but it cost Bottas and Mercedes nothing.
Try hard. "Valtteri, it's James..." it's a F1's phrase of shame forever.
So no reason to label it disgusting then.

You guys really have issues if you cant handle seeing team orders.
No issue with team orders if they are sensible. If they are not sensible orders than Bottas, like Vettel, has every right to ignore the team orders and ought to do so more often!

Vettel made a great habit of ignoring team orders, "Multi 21 Seb" in words of Australia's Mark Webber.

Bottas lost a valuable point for his WDC challenge. If you don't want Bottas to go for fastest lap, don't pit Bottas for soft tyres! It's pretty obvious to everyone else.

Telling a racing driver to deliberately get worse results is just bizarre.
They stopped because of vibration issues.
It's a shame, Bottas himself didn't know that and he was questioning the stop. :)

Alonso the magician pulled out a P6?!
Yeah Alonso deserved the driver of the day. Perez made a lot of mistakes. He would have been 5th if he hadn't locked up don't know why people think he deserved it
Fans prefer aggressive drivers not smart ones, I guess.
Only one thing fernando deserves and care for now is a car that can be in hunt, i pray everyday for that.

No need to argue I guess. Only Merc team order triggers them, but they are happy with what RB does because it helps Lord Max.
Yeah, theres no problem with team orders. I expect every team to do it all the time to help their team and number 1 driver. Yet its only a problem when its Mercedes. Quite sad really.

Perez has not been asked to give up a win yet, so it's fine. We will see if Perez will be made to deliberately give up a win but I doubt it will happen. Red Bull are more racers than that.

The Multi21 for Seb to hold position was given since Webber had led from the start, yet Vetel had been given the undercut due to threats from the cars behind. So it was rightfully Webber who should have had the preferred strategy, and there was no intention for Vettel to pass Webber and hence a team order for Vettel not to do so.

Are you looking at things from Bottas' point of view? :) Perhaps doing so would help you understand the views of other fans.

RedBull havent swapped drives for a win for a reason, they for the last 7 seasons, havent been involved in fighting for a title.

So the guy out of the title fight, and leaving the team is hard done by for giving up a chance at the fastest lap ?

If you don't want to him to go fastest lap, don't pit him for soft tyres with two laps to go! Soft tyres with two laps to go are inherently fast, wouldn't you say? :)

No wonder Bottas was baffled about that! "This is not a fastest lap attempt." "Why not?"

Why didn't Mercedes pit Lewis when he'd closed to within 1.5-2.0 seconds of Verstappen?

It was almost the perfect window to move onto the Softs. He'd have undercut Verstappen, meaning Verstappen couldn't risk the stop without losing track position. He'd also have had a great chance of fastest lap, and an outside chance of catching Verstappen on better tyres for the win.
