But it does set a precedent. Let's see Mercedes practice rolling starts and see what Ferrari fans have to say about it.
If it's legal. It's legal. And don't give me any BS about rolling starts...like they're gonna be lining up to have start like Vettel's? Give me a break. It has to be his worst start in 10 years.
I'm not talking rolling start like Indy as if you never stopped at your grid box. I'm talking about movement between all red lights on to lights out and away we go as we saw Vettel do. Duh.
We'll cross that bridge if and when we get to it.

Is it just me, or does anyone else notice the “flat red” paint scheme on the SF90 this year compared to years past? I personally liked the higher gloss shine of last years (and all years?) car.

It was discussed after launch. It's on purpose and Ferrari explains it with lower weight.

Thanks guys. I had no idea the minute difference in the weight of the paint was a technological consideration.

Now we know the secret behind their straight line speed.

Redbull also has a matt finish paint, doesn't seem to be helping them

Leclerc also mentioned that right from the start his car felt completely different, he had no front end whatsoever.
Must have completed messed up the setup with regards to today's higher track temps or something like that.
I think in Vettel's case it could have been something with the internal suspension elements, allowing for too much or too little travel that ultimately killed the wishbones over these bumps and curbs.

yes today was such a meltdown, it can't have been about a tiny bit of fuel. Did Seb hit that new sausage kerb on the inside of 8? also there was mention, by Ant perhaps, about their super complicated hydraulic rear suspension that they can only set up with a top ex-F1 driver in the sim

By gum! The lengths Ferrari are prepared to go to just to keep wraps on party mode! Ain’t nothing to do with any super complicated hydraulic rear suspension either. Party mode lives in the differential see! Without it, as Ferrari must have been, steering becomes heavy see. So all-in-all the brackely gang were unique on track. Little wonder it was one two.

As they introduced spec 3 engine earlier compared to other team, they may using old engine to avoid penalty. They no need to push as they already secured the second in constructor. Only driver 3 place is pending.

Ferrari's form will return in the next two races, fortunately for them. Brazil is never ending full throttle sections, and there aren't too many corners that hurt Ferrari. Abu Dhabi is a night race, and so far Ferrari has done well at all the night races thus far. I'm guessing that night races make it a little easier to get the tires in their window as there isn't a variable heat source changing track temperature.
