I agree with andrew.
Late braking is no longer needed to overtake, neither is outmanouvering or setting up.

The DRS overtakes are all in a straight line, any one here could do it. Open flap, creep up, push out and there you go; overtake in the middle of the straight instead of at the entry to the first turn.

The hardest part is coming within a second and less of the other car to get close.
For Sure!!

Correct.

If they are within 1 second of the car ahead they can activate DRS. Sadly the DRS cannot be used to defend which to me renders the system virtually pointless.
wow, the driver ahead will be pounded hard by everyone behind then. is this fair? he will be totally undefended in the 2nd zone, in assumption he still have his KERS in the 1st zone.

not to mention that if the car behind get ahead in the first activation zone .... that car that is now in front will have the DRS activation in the second zone .... and the car that is now behind wont........... slight flaw in the system if you ask me

It will be like an invisible blue flag for the guy ahead, and also a quite margin will be in the end of the 2nd zone for him. Is there any objection with this DRS Double Zone yet from the teams? Cause to me it's not just a slight flaw.

im not sure but if you recall Buttons pass on Schui he used the DRS to get passed him in the turns between the DRS zones and then danced away in the second zone it was a real shame that Schui could do nothing about it once he passed

yes, the margin will just keep stretching until the end of the 2nd zone.

As I can remeber it was quite a struggle for Button and Webber to pass Michael Schumacher...
Button could pass them because they f***ed it up and then could activate DRS on the start finish line, it wasn't that easy, and it won't be that easy in Valencia.

It will be hot in Valencia, lets hope for a non Red Bull Winner (or at least Mark Webber); HAM somewhere said that he will continue in his "I'm the gifted one, get out of the way style.", so action and havoc is guranteed. Lets hope he sets pole, outherwise he will take out somebody at the start...

My prediction, the Red Bull will suffer from the heat and Vettel will retire (unless he is crashed out in the first lap by HAM).

I assume (proper) fog will mean race abandoned. However,
