How come Ferrari went slower than sprint qualy?
They oughta forbid setup changes.

Not by much, it’s within a tenth. With time & better understanding, the competition have found some more speed

Hadjar is the future for RBR. my guess is Yuki will drive RBR this year.
Lawson is totally shattered to be last on the grid.
My guess is he will get caught up with race incidents tomorrow.

I feel bad for Lawson, I really do. But I’m so enjoying the egg on the faces of Horner and Marko. They needed this.

I'm note, he was so disrespectful to Perez last year and I'm glad this is happening to him now.

Here's another look at the lap times from the sprint (tire age in brackets):

(For those involved in the final lap crash, I took the lap 14-18 average instead)

Track position played a part there, of course, but it gives a bit of an idea who was most affected by tire wear.

I feel that with good tire management even Leclerc can win. Ferrari is pretty fast on the longer stints.

Looks like Ferrari have maintained their looking after the front tyre advantage still. All teams seemed to have said that they have altered their set up to look after the fronts more after seeing what happened during the FP2 long runs…. Excuse me, I mean the sprint

yeah, I think so too. Also no one will dangle around on 25 lap old mediums in the race, and the level of deg on the hards is a complete unknown so far. It could very well be much less of a factor.

There's no official tire lsit available yet, btw, but it normally should look like this:

Russell said after qualifying that he doesn’t know if it’s a 1 or a 2 stop race, I’m amazed that he’s even contemplating a 1 stop to be honest
