Any new technical parts or changes for Miami this weekend?

I am assuming not much in terms of parts unless they came by DHL 🙈🙊

From what I've read there aren't any new parts coming to Miami. They're gonna try fine tune setup with the parts they brought to Baku but couldn't test properly because of the limited fp time

Thanks a lot.

Seems correct I can’t spot nor see anything new.

However, it is interesting to see that we don’t have the highest downforce rear wing this weekend :-) compare to others so good news!

The DRS actuator looks quite different to last year.

I wonder why they would have spent budget on this.

In these image, notice how much is put into turning flow downward from all the detail parts, the mirror, mirror shroud, the fin on side of tub, the top suspension arm mounting area to chassis, the lower rear suspension arm itself, all trying to turn incoming air toward floor/strakes etc. No real sidepod geometry with undercut to capture this.
Appears to be huge effort to correct from running fairly substantial front wing flap geometry.

Looks to have minimal anti squat geometry in front to (perhaps one of the target in suspension changes they say are coming) mitigate front dive in braking phase.

Are all the electronics still housed in the space below the cape at the front end of the floor?

Likely because the geometry / relationship of the parts has changed with the change from the "big barn door wing" to the current one.
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.

Doesn’t make sense to fly upgrades from the uk to miami just for 1 race, cheaper for everyone to bring it at Imola

1. A Gurney flap in the second picture on the DRS flap, maybe they`ll trial different setups as they did in Baku.

2. They spend the money on a new DRS actuator also for the weight reasons

3. Has anybody pictures with the new Baku updates described in the below official team press release?

Image

4. Regarding the updates had they changed something internally they must declare them to the FIA or just for the aero parts? Had I`m not wrong they changed the corner dampers, the heave damper and the 3rd one (don`t know what it is called) since Melbourne ...

Looks like the same front wing but someone has taken a dremel to the top element
