BIG drop of pace for Mclaren at the end of a stint. Not ideal.

Norris bottling easy defence again.

Nice race by Max. Even fastest lap at the end, 1:37.463

Wonder how much the 2 Ferraris squabbling cost them there. Reeled Norris in at the end. Seems his tyres were overheating.

Max winning does a fastest lap at the end. Bit of Max of old controlling his pace.

Mclaren without mini DRS is not that impressive on race pace. Without mini drs they would have probably lost in Baku as well.

What an embarrassment Norris is! Making mistakes against Sainz and losing valuable points…

Max had the clear track in front of him! No one to battle this no one to eat his tires so he easily won!

It must be quite the “tire management” race tomorrow!

What an embarrassment by Mercedes too! Dreadful race pace…

Would be surprised if that ends up being more than a reprimand, if it ends up being anything at all.

Verstappen was reasonably happy with the car. That's how you know this ''title fight'' is done.
Yep. Title done. Media will tell us otherwise though

Mercedes no where on race pace again. It's been 2 years and 7 months since these new cars first raced and they still don't understand them or the tyres.

Ill give it to tomorrow to see how the car performs for Max. If it does get back to its winning ways comfortably. then thats some MEGA work done at the RBR HQ since they were looking at the failed upgrade.

Well, they surely told him to defend there, it was clear that Lec will try it. So I would expect he committed early to this line. If not...slam dunk 5sec. I guess they would give them easy as it is only one place. But really difficult to judge from the video as the braking point is not necessarily at one point there...

It's funny to read I don't know what Austria-type styles, of people who defend badass attitudes of the drivers of their team like in Barcelona.

HAM didn’t do much running because of his off in practice, it’s just bad all round IMO if they have to rely on RUS for setup.

Well, I guess without illegal rear wings (and the front ones heh....) it's a bit harder to win. Who would have thought.

To me NOR just pinned it to the inside expecting the overtake from LEC on that lap. LEC was never given the space; not worthy of any disciplinary.

Tires left after the sprint. Keeping those used hards from practice may turn into an advantage for RB, with even higher temps expected tomorrow
