Lando has averaged 2.2 points more than Max over 10 races. Lando and Oscar are equal in converting to points.
Given the WCC situation and the fact that next year Red Bull are likely to have a more competitive lineup, not sure we should replace Oscar with a number 2 level driver.
That's what they did and it started off very well. It was in season development then saw them going sideways, with the car being no faster but awkward to set up and drive. None the less, chances are it will get them a WDC by a hair and still have extra time for the 26 car, if that is the path they continued down.
Only thing I'd add to that is that he keep his tongue under control, it's his weakness, or at the very least, where he displays his weakness. Re: the drivers. I will never agree that in the absence of one driver being able to assert himself on the team and make himself a number 1 driver that it should happen artificially. If Oscar is taking points from Lando, it's because Lando isn't doing a good enough job to prevent it and there lies the issue.
I have huge respect for Lando, the team and their approach to racing. Only thing I'd ask of Lando is if he were a bit more robust and savvy on track and he stepped up on that last weekend.
