In the meantime I am reading bs from individuals that the FIA are suddenly pro Mclaren due to the VSC appearing after Norris passed Piastri. The fact that it might have been a random event escapes them.

In the meantime can't Karun Chanhok not bootlick so much? What kind of excuse is Max first pushed for a pass but then he saw the VSC sign and pulled back. Isn't the rule clear?

Even when Oscar gives the win to his teammate there will be haters. Congratulations McLaren for another 1-2!

That is true. Isn't that what Mclaren needed? An 1-2 with Norris first who needs the points and Piastri second. Does it matter how they did it or that they made it? We can all say what could happen and if my grandma had wheels she would be an f1 car.

Thought they did quite well. It was clear the pace between the 3 teams was similar, until Ferrari dropped off. That made it hard to swap easily.

But, that RB pace did show that all the talk of them struggling isn't quite right.

Seen lots of calls about the VSC. I'm not sure those complaining always want a VSC when a car is off.

For some reason there is a lot of talk about that VSC coming out after Lando passed Oscar and they are leaving claims that it was intentional or something to help Mclaren.

It's sprint, which is quite variable with the shorter setup time. The order or gaps could be quite different for Qualy and the Race.

Great that we got a 1-2. Strong driving from both today, in Particular Oscar who had a nice recovery from a 2 less than stellar weekends. Big thanks to Oscar for risking the threat from Max in giving Lando the extra point.

Verstappen is alway a threat in quali and the sprints with or without bad race pace on a sunday

On the positive, we didn't lose points through strategy mistakes, Ferrari doesn't look fast (hopefully we seal WCC in coming races) and while Verstappen looks decent he did lose 3 points in a sprint.

Let's keep at it. Need to get 1-2 again and dominate the race.

Let's hope qualy lands nicely for the team. A 1-2 with verstappen down the order a little would be nice.
I think if there is no big points swing tomorrow (15 points) the wdc will be over.
