The mclaren definitely got faster since miami upgrade. That car would comfortably be behind both ferraris at the very least.

But as others have touched on. Considering the seasons targets what the team has achieved is astonishing.

I was talking about my own past mclaren fanship, no idea about McL-H. And by no means looking to 'flamebait'. Just a gentle note that the negativity is not particularly making McL more sympathetic, and especially the 'anti dutch' generalizations - considering there is quite a lot of sympathy for the team in the Netherlands (the orange might help). No need to ruin that.
Just be happy, you won WCC in a year that started with "it would be great to win a race". That's a good feat, and the team is set for a great 2025.

What I listed on the first message was a years worth of negativity and attacks (sometimes personal with insults) from fans of other teams coming to the forum. Attacks on the team's legality and attacks on Lando Norris. Attacks that also contained anti-English generalizations. I find it unfair to be criticized for finally criticizing back all that bad criticism not to mention being singled out. After all don't criticize if you don't want criticism. It ruins sympathy in both sides. In any case I am really not interested to analyze that anymore as it is a day of joy with Mclaren being back on the throne after 26 long years so I would kindly ask to end it here and I can't wait for a fantastic battle next year against Lewis Hamilton.

I became a McLaren fan since first watching the epic duels between Senna and Prost on TV, and began regularly watching the Races again since 2007. Been through some many roller caster years and I felt quite emotional today when Lando crossed the start/finished line and sealed the construction champion. HELL YEAH!

This is just amazing work by the whole team, guided by a fantastic leadership group.
Zak has well and truly cemented himself into McLarens history book as a legend for the team.

All is well that ends well. It was a good event in the course of things, and good preparation for next year. A few times now he knows that he will lose out if he tries a move in which he expects someone to move simply because he wants to be there.

Also, despite what some have said, if Piastri moves out of the way of such attempts it only makes it more likely that Max will expect someone to move the next time. Not the best time to suffer the crash, and I think Piastri wasn't expecting him to be there, but Max will know that if he tries it again the space may very well not be there again with the same consequences from the stewards and possibly some damage. He only gets away with it because people let him.

In any case, it wasn't the worst turn 1 incident. The vitriol and highly offensive remarks in this forum are totally unwarranted and many cases plain offensive.

I can't believe I can live through McLaren is world champion. What a trip it was. I remember those times between 2015-2019. How deep we were. Thanks for Zak and for everybody who involved or involves in becomin a winner team. Many - many thanks for the team.

Honestly I think Oscar will be unstoppable if he can match Lando's outright speed and can bring the tyres in like he does, he's already shown how ruthless he can be, now he just needs to unlock the magic, but I'm hoping for a solid Lando Norris WDC 2025 before that

Stella is great, his vision and his hardworking attitude makes Mclaren a real challenger.
