Both cars have now a single RW support between the beam wing and the rear crash structure wile they used to have two before...

The E21 has that long thin winglet in front of the beam wing since Barcelona ; )

The device prob let's them use more downforce, and then drop that in a straight line, so the device isnt for top speed.

I actually don't think, that they have a problem. I don't know the exact wording of the rules, but as far as I've heard, you only are allowed to have 3 parts connected on the upright on the same point. It is said that Lotus have both lower wishbones, the pushrod and the steering connected in the same point. Well, if that is the case, how would they be able to steer?
To rotate something with the steering rod, you need to create torque. Therefore you need an offset to the rotation axis, and therefore the steering rod can't be connected on the same point as the other 3 parts.

The report was correct. Although not specifically said it was illegal, Whiting made a clarification and Lotus will change it next race.
