I missed fp2, how was the tyre wear on the usual top teams and who looked the fastest?

Red Bull lookeed the best overall with Mercedes strong candidate for pole position. Ferrari seems of the pace. I think they will improve tomorow because it will be warmer, they said. Torro Rosso drivers are doing more than the car is capable of. Force India looks good. Saubers still strugulling, nothing new from Williams.. Marussia seems to have enormous maximal speed acording to Nico Hulkemberg.

Tyre wear between Mercedes and Red Bull looked quite even and actually not bad. We had Nico on the mediums and at the end of his 10-12 lap stint, his tyres looked better then the Force India's hards on a similar length stint.

Ferrari looked like they have to catch up, both in qualy and race pace. Lotus is difficult to tell; lots of testing of updates, but Kimi's long stint pace looked promising.

I think Ferrari will improve tomorrow because it will be warmer, they said. I think this bad lap times are just cause of low temperatures. I think the could not get tires in proper temperature. And in FP1 Sky said they did not have their updates on car. They are still coming.

Yeah true, still it does put some pressure on tommorow's practice, and Massa seems to be prone snapping a bit too much under it these days.

It's Grosjean, not Goujon

i was sitting at maggots/beckets today during FP2 and thought i'd share some observations - for what its worth if anything.

- Torro Rosso looked planted through here and they were quiet impressive. About as planted as Red Bull imo. Having said that, Red Bull were running a skinner wing so make of it what you will. But the commitment from such an early stage was way beyond anyone else and was very noticeable

- Mclaren seemed quiet stiff and about average. The car seemed to bounce a little bit on the rear end (basically the same problems as they have had all season)

- Merc seemed quick but not as quick as Ferrari, Red Bull and Torro Rosso to be fair.

- The Force Indias had a bit of trouble on the exit of Beckets into chapel. its hard to tell which driver but one kept running wide, it looked like he took a slightly different line through the exit but as the track was damp there it caused him problems

- Lotus of Grojean was running very very low. At one point he had sparks under the car all the way through the corners

- Sauber has a noticeable amount of roll in the car compared to everyone else

- Caterham and Maurussia were noticeable slower through here
