That's a very good point the even numbered starters have it better don't they? that was the whole reason behind Massa's gearbox last year and why Hamilton fell of the line and had to fight his way back past Webber.Gerhard Berger wrote:Is there a marked difference between the dirty and clean side of the track as there was last year?SilverArrow10 wrote:no 8 tenths away from the pack is not dominate at allHappy with Hekki though!!! Hamilton and Alonso is going to have a time with hulkenburg tomorrow if they don't get him off the line, the podium tomorrow may well be the order it is in now.
I love the way Vettel pumped his first and blowed his cheeks after that qualifying session as if it was a tough qualifying fought between multiple drivers and cars. Reality is, the only competition he had was from a soon to be retired 37 year Mark Webber.
sky sports, but they've been wrong before.Helios wrote:Source?Juzh wrote:KOV had no kers in Q3 so really a good effort from him.
Ted mentioned it at the start of Q3.Helios wrote:I can't find it, can you post a link please?
They have had lots of racing here in the past 12 months so it shouldn't be so bad.SilverArrow10 wrote:That's a very good point the even numbered starters have it better don't they? that was the whole reason behind Massa's gearbox last year and why Hamilton fell of the line and had to fight his way back past Webber.Gerhard Berger wrote:Is there a marked difference between the dirty and clean side of the track as there was last year?SilverArrow10 wrote:no 8 tenths away from the pack is not dominate at allHappy with Hekki though!!! Hopefully they build a car with some good race pace next year.Helios wrote:Nico says they have gone for a tire-friendly setup and couldn't get heat into the tires. This might pay off tomorrow, but I still think Lewis is going to go backwards. Just a feeling.
Hamilton's practice 3 lap would've put him in P3 on the grid. But I guess the track conditions were different. Rosberg could not match his practice 3 time either.Mika1 wrote:I am not disappointed with P5 for Lewis, hopefully he will have a good race now.
I have seen some onboards of Lewis in FP3 and at that point I thought P10 would be difficult to achieve.Shrieker wrote:Hamilton's practice 3 lap would've put him in P3 on the grid. And they decide to go for that on a track that tyres last forever anyway...Helios wrote:Nico says they have gone for a tire-friendly setup and couldn't get heat into the tires. This might pay off tomorrow, but I still think Lewis is going to go backwards. Just a feeling.
It's even worse than that... Nico just stated that if the temperatures are going to rise up to 30°, they're going to struggle to get a 1stopper working.Sevach wrote:And they decide to go for that on a track that tyres last forever anyway...Helios wrote:Nico says they have gone for a tire-friendly setup and couldn't get heat into the tires.
