Wanted to hear that radio message by Bottas (?). Instead I heard all about dry ice and cooling the intakes.

Worst production ever. Why can't the radio stream also go into the ears of whoever is talking? Astonishing.
He said he had a problem with his helmet!
Still more interesting! :D

I see that in race simulation the Ferrari is quite off to Merc...same result as China then?

in china bottas was ahead of ferrari in fp2 and verstappen was very close, on this track they're very far away at this time. This probably means qualifying will be close once the merc turns it up.

Driving on the kerbs is not obligatory - the drivers do it because it's quicker. Their problem then.

Loose manholes are outside of the drivers' / teams' control so damage caused should be open to a "free" repair of controlled items such as the battery.
Have you seen the footage ? this was no where near a kerb or corner, it was right in the middle of the track on the racing line.
Try reading what I wrote and what I was responding to, not what you think I wrote.
but what if the manhole was on the curb? : O

Who knows what will happen, today was a complete cluster fuc*. I mean come on, Albon set the fastest 3rd Sector, and Bottas was the fastest across the start/finish line, by like 5 Kmh over Leclerc.

Kerb is not part of the race track so it's the driver's problem.
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.

Anyone know why they keep pulling Lewis's engine cover off? This is like the second or third time this session.

Ouch. If it is Gasly's fault...

Neither him nor the team noticed that he was chosen to be weighed. They concentrated on pit stop practise.

Seems to be a very harsh penalty for something like this in FP2.

Through F1TV, his mechanic doesn't mention anything and I can't see someone signalling to him from the onboard camera, at least not in an obvious manner.
