Perhaps, perhaps not. After all, the physio was working with Mclaren prior to Magnussen's arrival.

For crying out loud.
is it so hard to get through?

Sergio Perez would still be at McLaren if one unnamed Formula 1 principal had not reneged on a deal to give Kevin Magnussen a drive for 2014
Whitmarsh told the official formula1.com website that the first choice had been to keep Perez and find Magnussen a place elsewhere on the grid
“I even did a deal and shook hands with a team principal up and down this paddock – an absolute deal – but he stepped back.
Whitmarsh said the end result was that McLaren decided the 23-year-old Perez would have to go, even though the Mexican had done a ‘decent job’ and deserved to stay in Formula 1.
Whitmarsh f#cked up. That is the only reason Magnussen was granted a seat @ MCL in 2014, and fell short humongeously.
Atleast Perez was able to give Button a run for his money. Whitmarsh sc*wed up big time.
There is no place for Magnussen on the 2015 grid, simple as that. I cannot understand how he can still be taken serious for that seat.
It's either Alonso-Button, or Alonso - fityourdriver. But Magnussen? no way. Neither will it be vandoorne, even IF vandoorne had some potential, he has a contract in another racing class for 2015 and there is no room for him at MClaren in 2015 because 1. he has zero experience and 2. Honda and shareholders have a say in it and there is no ffing way anybody on earth will take Mclaren serious anymore if they'll hammer in another rookie 3 times in a row.
It'll be either Button or another 'experienced' F1 driver from the grid.
Anyway, tomorrow is 1st of December. Expect either tomorrow or tuesday an announcement. Finally.
